Uckfield Student Wins First Prize in South of England Show

Beth Watton of year 11 won first prize in the Metalworking section of The Young Craftsman of the Year Competition at the South of England Show beating students from schools all over south east England.
The judges stated that her silver charm bracelet was “beautifully executed. The attention to detail and the finish on the charms is exquisite. The links are virtually identical and the clasp very functional. Well done!”
Her teacher, Mr Carter was presented with a shield praising the work that had been done.
