Welcome to UCTC 6^th Form

Dear prospective 6^th Former

We are justly proud of the broad and flexible curriculum we offer at 16+ which nurtures success and builds confidence for ‘life long learning’. The 6^th form College operates as a ‘College within a College’ with its own distinctive ethos. You will take on more responsibility and be more independent. We continue to ensure you are known and supported. Your academic progress is carefully monitored enabling you to achieve your potential. UCTC has an outstanding record of personal achievement.

We aim to provide you with lively and challenging learning experiences. A wide range of courses is on offer, including traditional A levels, Applied A levels, Vocational Qualifications (many at our rapidly developing Wealden Skills Centre site), new GCSE subjects and opportunities to take enrichment courses. You can select courses that develop into an individual package to suit your personal interests or your career objectives. Extensive opportunities are provided to develop your leadership skills along with imaginative challenges to develop your creativity, initiative, thinking skills and teamwork, both in lessons and in extra-curricular activities.

At UCTC we have a trained team of teachers who specialize in advising 6^th form students. They will be there to support you through the coming months, through the option choices and through the so important years ahead.

We believe that 6^th form life at UCTC is a rewarding and enjoyable experience and we very much look forward to welcoming you.
