7:00pm Tuesday 7th February 2012 - UCTC Music Department presents: Piano Recital by Internationally acclaimed concert pianist Richard Meyrick
Tickets: £5 adults, £3 students and concessions
With great pleasure we announce that Richard Meyrick, an internally renowned Concert Pianist, will be coming to UCTC on 7th February 2012.
At 7:00pm Richard Meyrick will present a piano recital in our College Hall with a programme to include items by Beethoven, Kapustin, Mompou, Granados, Gottschalk and Lecuona. This promises to be a wonderful evening of inspirational piano performance, delivered by a highly celebrated musician.
Prior to the concert Richard Meyrick will run a a piano workshop for students that attend the college and other local schools, developing their piano technique, understanding of piano repertoire and enthuse students with his own style. This starts at 2:30pm and will last approximately 1.5 hours.
