What is School Direct?
School Direct is a programme where schools recruit trainees directly and train them within their partnership of schools. Schools have more control, therefore, over the quality of training that is provided and how it is delivered.
The HUUB partnership (Heathfield, Uckfield, Uplands, Beacon) guarantees an interview for anyone who applies for any relevant post with the partnership schools, once they have completed their training.
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to join us for the College’s annual Carol Service. This year’s Service takes place on Tuesday 18th December at 7:30pm in the lovely surroundings of Holy Cross Church, in the centre of Uckfield.
The LRC currently has 446 books that are overdue by two months or more, as well as many others overdue. The replacement value of these books runs into several thousands of pounds. Please ensure all LRC books are returned asap. NOTE - as in previous years, Year 11 students will not be able to obtain Prom tickets unless they have returned their books. Thanks

Invitation to all parents
Dear Parents and Carers. I hold a Parents surgery on the first Monday of every month from 5pm to 7pm. No appointments necessary. Please feel free to pop in to my office, it is close to Reception. The purpose of it is to give you an opportunity to discuss wider school developments on a one to one basis and to have your views heard on how we can make our College even better.
These Surgeries are in addition to our regular Parents' Forums, which is where we meet groups of parents. I look forward to seeing you at one of these dates.
